A compact serif with pronounced stroke contrast and sculpted, flaring terminals that widen as they meet the ends of strokes. The serifs read as sharp and slightly wedge-like, with a chiseled feel and crisp joins that give the letterforms a carved, print-oriented rhythm. Counters are relatively tight and apertures tend toward the closed side, while curves (notably in C, G, O, and the lowercases) are smoothly drawn and balanced against the firm vertical emphasis. The lowercase shows a traditional two-storey a and g, a narrow, pointed w, and a t with a compact crossbar, all contributing to an even, disciplined texture in text.

Performs best in headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and other editorial applications where contrast and sculpted detail can be appreciated. It also suits book and magazine cover typography, premium packaging, and poster work that calls for a refined, classic serif voice.

The font conveys an editorial, authoritative tone—confident and serious with a slightly theatrical, old-style gravitas. Its sharp terminals and strong contrast add tension and elegance, producing a voice that feels suited to curated, premium content rather than casual interfaces.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif conventions with pronounced flaring and crisp terminals, yielding a condensed, high-impact text and display face. The goal seems to be a strong, authoritative texture with enough refinement to remain legible and controlled in continuous reading at moderate-to-large sizes.

In the sample text, the tight spacing and tapered terminals create a dark, continuous color that benefits from generous line spacing at larger sizes. Numerals appear sturdy and print-like, and the uppercase has a commanding presence that can read as headline-forward when set with breathing room.
