A very heavy, right-leaning serif with sharply carved wedge terminals and frequent triangular cut-ins that create a chiseled, stencil-like rhythm. Curves are full and bulbous but interrupted by crisp notches and internal scoops (notably in rounds like C, G, O, Q, and the numerals), giving the shapes a faceted, high-tension look. Stems are substantial and slightly tapered, with pointed joins and occasional spur-like details that add bite to counters and apertures. Overall spacing feels lively and uneven in a deliberate way, with letterforms that vary in silhouette and emphasis for a more display-oriented texture than a strictly uniform text face.

Best suited for headlines, posters, cover lines, and identity work where the carved details and wedge terminals can be appreciated. It can also work for packaging and labels that benefit from a bold, vintage-leaning display serif with an assertive slant. For longer passages, it’s most effective in short bursts—pull quotes, subheads, or feature intros—rather than continuous body text.

The font projects a bold, theatrical personality—half classic serif, half decorative cut-paper or engraved signage. Its energetic slant and sharp incisions add a sense of motion and showmanship, while the weight and wedge serifs keep it grounded and authoritative. The result feels retro-tinged and editorial, suited to attention-grabbing statements rather than quiet neutrality.

The design appears intended as a high-impact display serif that borrows from classic italic proportions but amplifies them with sculpted cuts and dramatic terminals. Those notches and scoops seem purpose-built to create a memorable texture and a distinctive brand voice, prioritizing character and presence over strict neutrality.

The distinctive triangular voids and clipped terminals produce strong black–white patterning, especially at larger sizes where the internal cuts read as intentional detailing. In dense settings, the heavy mass and decorative interruptions can create a textured, almost patterned line, so generous leading and careful tracking help preserve clarity. Numerals match the same carved, high-impact style and stand up well as standalone figures.
