A sturdy serif with bracketed wedge-like terminals and a clearly defined thick–thin rhythm. Strokes are confidently weighted, with compact interior counters and a slightly condensed, vertical stance that keeps lines feeling dense and emphatic. Uppercase forms read as solid and blocky with strong horizontals, while lowercase shows a two-storey a and g, pronounced beaks/terminals, and short-to-moderate extenders that reinforce an efficient, text-forward texture. Numerals follow the same robust construction, with clear, traditional shapes and firm serifs.

Well suited to editorial headlines, magazine typography, and book-oriented layouts where a traditional serif voice is desired. It can also work for institutional branding, certificates, and packaging that benefits from a strong, classic typographic color, especially in short-to-medium text blocks.

The overall tone is classic and no-nonsense, projecting authority and credibility. Its dark color and crisp serifs lend a familiar bookish feel, suited to formal or editorial communication rather than playful or decorative use.

The design appears intended as a conventional, dependable serif that delivers strong presence and legibility while retaining classic proportions and familiar text-serif details. Its emphasis on sturdy serifs and compact spacing suggests it is meant to create an authoritative typographic tone and a dense, consistent page color.

At display sizes the weight and compact counters create a powerful, almost poster-like presence; in longer settings the texture remains consistent and even, with a slightly tight feel that favors structured layouts. Curves (C, G, O/Q) are broad and steady, and diagonals (V, W, X, Y) stay sharp and decisive without calligraphic flourish.
