A refined serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharp, tapered hairlines. Serifs are bracketed and delicately flared, giving strokes a crisp entry and exit while keeping the overall texture smooth and continuous. The capitals feel stately and slightly narrow with clean, classical proportions; curves are carefully modeled with tight joins and controlled terminals. Lowercase forms read as bookish and traditional, with compact apertures, a two-storey “g,” and a lively italic-like impulse in some terminals despite the upright stance. Numerals follow the same polished logic, mixing sturdy verticals with fine hairline details and small, decisive serifs.

Well-suited to magazine typography, literary and cultural layouts, and book work where a traditional serif presence is desired. It also performs convincingly in large-scale settings—headlines, pull quotes, and elegant titling—where the contrast and hairline serifs can be appreciated.

The tone is classic and cultivated, projecting sophistication and restraint. Its contrast and sharp detailing suggest a premium, editorial voice—appropriate for contexts where typographic finesse and a sense of heritage matter.

The design intention appears to be a conventional, classical text serif refined for contemporary editorial use, balancing readable forms with a distinctly polished, high-contrast finish.

In text, the rhythm is driven by strong verticals and fine connecting hairlines, producing a bright, high-end page color at larger sizes. The delicate extremes and narrow joins imply it will look best when given sufficient size and printing/screen conditions that preserve thin strokes.
