A decorative serif with crisp, pointed terminals and lightly flared serifs, mixing sturdy vertical stems with occasional hairline connections and sharp wedge-like joins. The capitals show pronounced, sometimes asymmetric embellishment—small notches, hooked spurs, and internal cut-ins that create a carved, inked look. Round letters (C, G, O, Q) lean toward open, calligraphic bowls with tapered ends, while several diagonals (K, M, N, W, X) feature split or ribbon-like strokes that add visual complexity. Lowercase is comparatively restrained and readable, with classic serif construction and modest stroke modulation, while still echoing the sharper terminal language. Numerals are oldstyle-leaning in feel with varied shapes and a slightly calligraphic stance, maintaining the same pointed finishing details.

Well suited to display applications such as book and chapter titles, fantasy or historical-themed branding, posters, packaging, and invitation work where decorative capitals can take center stage. In paragraphs it can work for short passages, pull quotes, or headings, especially when paired with a calmer companion for body text.

The overall tone is theatrical and slightly gothic, with a playful, storybook energy. The sharp terminals and ornamental capitals give it a ceremonial, fantasy-leaning character—more expressive than neutral—while the simpler lowercase helps keep longer text from feeling entirely whimsical or chaotic.

The font appears designed to blend traditional serif structure with ornamental, engraved-like detailing, prioritizing distinctive silhouettes and a dramatic cap set. It aims to evoke historical and fantastical associations while retaining enough conventional lowercase construction to remain usable beyond single-word marks.

The design relies on distinctive cap forms to carry the personality, so mixed-case settings feel more balanced than all-caps. Many letters include narrow internal voids and fine details, which read best at display sizes where the spurs and cut-ins can stay crisp.
