A high-contrast italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a lively, calligraphic rhythm. The serifs are bracketed and sharp, with tapered entry/exit strokes and many angled terminals that reinforce the forward slant. Uppercase forms are elegant and slightly narrow, with crisp joins and a restrained, bookish posture, while the lowercase shows more handwriting influence—single-storey a and g, a looping f, and a flowing y with a generous tail. Numerals follow the same contrasty, slanted construction, with a notably elegant, curved 9 and open, readable counters overall.

Well-suited to editorial settings such as magazines and book interiors where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, quotations, or commentary. It can also serve effectively in literary titling, pull quotes, and refined branding that benefits from a classic serif italic with strong contrast.

The overall tone is classic and cultivated, evoking traditional book typography and formal correspondence. Its energetic italic movement adds a sense of sophistication and motion without becoming decorative, making it feel authoritative yet expressive.

The design appears intended as a conventional text-serif italic that delivers a traditional, print-like elegance with clear calligraphic cues. It balances refinement and readability by pairing crisp, bracketed serifs and strong contrast with consistent proportions and a steady text rhythm.

Stroke endings often resolve into fine points, so the design reads best when the hairlines have enough resolution and contrast. Spacing appears moderately open for an italic, helping maintain clarity in longer text while preserving the characteristic slanted cadence.
