A slanted, calligraphic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a brush-like texture along curves and joins. Strokes taper into sharp, wedge-like terminals, with occasional swash accents in capitals and long, sweeping entry/exit strokes. Letterforms are compact in the lowercase with relatively small counters and a restrained x-height, while ascenders and descenders add rhythmic vertical movement. The overall color is lively and slightly uneven due to subtle edge irregularities that suggest ink drag or worn printing.

Best suited to display typography where its contrast, slant, and textured stroke edges can be appreciated—such as book and editorial headlines, invitations and announcements, certificates, and heritage-leaning branding. It can work for short passages, but the energetic texture and compact lowercase favor larger sizes and generous spacing for comfortable reading.

The font conveys a classic, expressive formality—evoking handwritten penmanship and traditional publishing aesthetics. Its textured contrast and sweeping italics add drama and a sense of ceremony, making it feel refined yet artisanal rather than clinical.

The design appears intended to mimic a traditional italic written with a broad, pressure-sensitive tool, adding controlled flourishes and a lightly distressed finish to keep the forms expressive and human. It aims to deliver a classic, formal tone with a handcrafted surface suitable for thematic and vintage-leaning compositions.

Capitals show the most flourish, with generous curves and extended strokes that can create distinctive word shapes in display settings. Numerals and lowercase maintain the same angled stress and textured finish, producing a consistent, hand-rendered impression across mixed text.
