This typeface is built from crisp, straight strokes and chamfered corners, giving many curves an octagonal, faceted feel. Strokes alternate between very thin hairlines and noticeably heavier verticals, with sharp terminals and compact, bracketless-looking serifs that read as engineered rather than calligraphic. The capitals are tall and stately with squared counters (notably in C, G, O, Q) and a generally modular rhythm; diagonals in V/W/X are slender and razor-like. Lowercase forms follow the same angular logic, with a single-storey a and g, narrow joins, and flat, level cross strokes that keep the texture airy in text despite the strong contrast.

Best suited to headlines, titling, and display typography where the chamfered geometry and high-contrast detailing can be appreciated. It also fits institutional or architectural branding moments, technical-themed signage, and packaging that benefits from a precise, constructed serif voice.

The overall tone feels precise and instrument-like—part drafting stencil, part engraved signage. Its faceted geometry lends a slightly futuristic, retro-tech flavor, while the serif structure and upright stance keep it formal and controlled rather than playful.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a traditional serif skeleton through a geometric, cut-corner construction, emphasizing precision and a machined aesthetic. By combining stately proportions with faceted curves and sharp hairlines, it aims to deliver a distinctive display personality that still reads as structured and formal.

Numerals continue the squared, chamfered construction, with a distinctive slashed zero and angular 2/3/5 shapes that echo the capitals. The thin hairlines can appear delicate at small sizes, while the sharp corners and stepped curves become a defining feature in larger settings.
