An angular display face with blackletter-influenced construction and a fractured, chiseled stroke edge. Letterforms are built from sharp wedges and broken curves, with irregular notches and small cut-ins that create a distressed silhouette. Strokes show intermittent internal cut-outs and small separated fragments, giving the impression of ink breaks or carved facets rather than continuous calligraphic flow. Spacing and widths vary noticeably across glyphs, and counters are often tight, emphasizing bold shapes and pointed terminals in both caps and lowercase.

Best suited to short display settings where texture and atmosphere are the priority—titles, posters, album/track artwork, game or film branding, and themed packaging. It can work for brief emphasis in headings or pull quotes, but the distressed detailing and tight counters make it less appropriate for long passages at small sizes.

The overall tone is dark and theatrical, evoking medieval manuscript lettering filtered through a horror or fantasy aesthetic. Its roughened contours and blade-like details add tension and energy, making text feel arcane, ominous, and ritualistic.

The design appears intended to merge historic blackletter cues with a deliberately weathered, cut-out look that reads as carved, ink-worn, or battle-scarred. The goal is strong character and mood over neutrality, delivering immediate genre signaling for gothic, fantasy, or horror contexts.

In the sample text, the texture becomes more pronounced across lines, producing a lively, uneven rhythm that reads as intentional distress. Uppercase forms are especially emblematic and crest-like, while numerals share the same carved, broken-edge treatment for consistent impact.
