A slanted serif with slender strokes, moderate thick–thin modulation, and sharply finished, bracketed serifs. The forms are compact with a relatively small x-height, giving the lowercase a tall, elegant rhythm and emphasizing ascenders and descenders. Curves are clean and slightly tensioned, while terminals often taper to fine points, producing a crisp, engraved-like texture in text. Numerals follow the same angled stress and delicate finishing, maintaining a consistent, graceful color across mixed content.

Well suited to book and editorial typography where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, introductions, captions, or pull quotes. It can also serve formal materials—programs, invitations, or certificates—where a traditional serif italic helps convey sophistication. Best results will come from sizes and printing/display conditions that preserve its fine details and tapered endings.

The overall tone is refined and literary, with a classical, old-world sensibility that reads as formal without becoming ornate. Its italic posture and tapered details add a sense of motion and elegance, suggesting tradition, scholarship, and cultured editorial voice.

The design appears intended to provide a conventional, readable serif italic with a distinctly elegant, calligraphy-informed finish. Its proportions and compact rhythm aim to deliver a refined page color and a classic typographic character for long-form and editorial settings.

In the text sample, the slant and narrow set create a lively diagonal cadence, with capitals that feel dignified and slightly calligraphic. The texture stays even at larger sizes, where the fine terminals and bracket transitions become a defining stylistic feature.
