This typeface features a broken-stroke construction with sharp, angular joins and pronounced pointed terminals. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation reminiscent of broad-nib calligraphy, with dark verticals and hairline-like connecting cuts. Capitals are compact and highly stylized, using faceted bowls and diamond-like counters; lowercase follows a similarly fractured rhythm with a short x-height and prominent ascenders and descenders. Spacing appears tight and the overall silhouette is dense, producing a strong, high-ink texture in words and lines.

Best suited to display use such as headlines, posters, titles, and packaging where its dense texture and angular detail can be appreciated. It also fits period-themed branding, certificates, and editorial cover work; for longer passages, larger sizes and generous line spacing help preserve clarity.

The overall tone is medieval and ceremonial, evoking historic manuscript lettering and blackletter tradition. Its spiky forms and dense color feel authoritative and dramatic, with a formal, heraldic character that can read as traditional or ominous depending on context.

The design appears intended to deliver a historically rooted blackletter voice with crisp, broken forms and dramatic contrast, prioritizing atmosphere and visual authority over neutral readability.

In text settings, the strong vertical emphasis and intricate interior shapes create a textured, patterned line. The numerals and several lowercase forms carry calligraphic flicks and angled cuts that reinforce the hand-drawn, pen-made impression, while maintaining a consistent, disciplined rhythm across the set.
