This serif features strong thick–thin modulation with a clear vertical stress and very fine hairline serifs. Stems are tall and slender, with compact proportions and a measured, even rhythm in text. Serifs are small and neatly bracketed, and terminals tend toward sharp, tapered finishing strokes rather than blunt cuts. Curves are smooth and controlled, with open counters and careful balance between round forms and straight verticals, giving the design a poised, editorial texture.

Well suited to editorial typography where a refined, high-contrast serif can add authority and polish—magazines, essays, and book interiors at comfortable text sizes. It also works effectively for elegant headlines, pull quotes, and formal collateral such as invitations or programs, especially where ample whitespace lets the hairlines and serifs remain crisp.

The overall tone is polished and cultured, with a distinctly literary, fashion-forward elegance. Its crisp contrast and narrow stance convey formality and sophistication, reading as quiet confidence rather than expressive display.

The design appears intended to provide a classic, contemporary text serif with a fashionable edge: narrow, vertically stressed forms and delicate finishing that elevate tone while maintaining a conventional reading rhythm. Its balance of crisp detail and controlled spacing suggests an aim for editorial versatility across both text and display settings.

In the grid, the capitals feel statuesque and restrained, while the lowercase shows a more calligraphic liveliness in letters like the two-storey g and the angled, fine-ended terminals. Numerals follow the same refined contrast, with slender figures and delicate finishing details that suit running text and titling alike when set with adequate size and spacing.
