A heavy, high-contrast serif with pronounced vertical stress and flared stroke endings that broaden into wedge-like terminals. The serifs are bracketed and assertive, with sculpted joins and occasional ball or teardrop terminals in the lowercase, giving the forms a carved, display-forward feel. Counters are relatively compact and apertures tend to be tight, while the curves (notably in C, G, S, and O) show strong thick–thin modulation. The rhythm is dense and weighty, with crisp edges and a slightly condensed, poster-like presence in running text.

Best suited to headlines, magazine and newspaper-style editorial settings, title cards, and bold branding where strong contrast and sculpted serifs can be appreciated. It can work for short blocks of text at larger sizes, but its dense color and tight openings make it most effective for display typography.

The tone reads bold and traditional, mixing newspaper-era seriousness with a theatrical, attention-grabbing flair. It suggests heritage and authority while still feeling expressive due to its swollen terminals and dramatic contrast.

The design appears intended to deliver a commanding, classic serif voice with extra visual punch, combining traditional proportions with flared, sculpted terminals to increase impact in display contexts.

Uppercase letters appear especially monumental, with strong verticals and deep bracket transitions, while the lowercase introduces more personality through rounded terminals and pronounced ear/fin-like details. Numerals match the same display sensibility, with strong contrast and sturdy vertical strokes that hold their shape at larger sizes.
