A heavy, blocky blackletter with irregular, hand-cut contours and pronounced angularity. Strokes are thick and compact, with faceted corners, occasional notches, and subtle waviness that makes each form feel carved rather than mechanically drawn. Counters are small and tightly enclosed, and many joins show wedge-like tapering that reinforces a cut-from-solid silhouette. Spacing and widths vary noticeably across characters, giving words a bouncy, uneven rhythm while staying consistently bold.

Best suited to display applications such as posters, event titles, game or fantasy branding, packaging labels, and bold signage where the heavy blackletter texture can dominate the layout. It can also work for short phrases or pull quotes when a medieval, handmade bite is desired, but it is less appropriate for long passages at small sizes due to its dense, dark forms.

The font projects a rowdy medieval energy—part tavern sign, part poster headline—mixing gothic tradition with a mischievous, handmade roughness. Its dense black shapes feel loud and assertive, while the quirky irregularities keep the tone approachable and humorous rather than formal.

The design appears intended to evoke blackletter heritage while exaggerating weight and introducing hand-drawn, chiseled imperfections for character. Its variable letter widths and faceted edges prioritize impact and personality over neutrality, aiming for strong, poster-like word silhouettes.

In running text the dark color and tight counters create strong texture, with distinctive, chunky word shapes. The set reads best at larger sizes where the internal cut-ins and angular details remain clear; at smaller sizes the heavy massing can make similar forms feel crowded.
