This typeface is a slanted serif with a pronounced calligraphic construction and a lively, forward-leaning rhythm. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation with tapered, flaring terminals that broaden as they meet the ends, and serifs that feel bracketed and swept rather than blunt. The overall color is assertive and dark, while the counters remain open enough to keep forms crisp at display sizes. Curves and joins are smooth and slightly sheared, giving round letters a directional, kinetic feel; the lowercase shows traditional, text-informed shapes with compact bowls and angled entry/exit strokes.

Best suited to display typography where its contrast, slant, and flared endings can be appreciated—headlines, magazine and book cover titling, pull quotes, and premium branding. It can work for short passages or subheads when set with generous leading and careful line length, especially in print-oriented layouts.

The font reads as refined and energetic, combining a classic bookish tone with a fashionable, editorial edge. Its sharp contrast and brisk italic movement add drama and a sense of speed, making the voice feel confident and slightly formal rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary, high-impact italic serif that borrows from calligraphic and transitional traditions while emphasizing tapered, flared stroke endings for a distinctive, upscale presence.

Capital forms present strong, sculpted silhouettes with pointed apexes and tapered feet, while the numerals echo the same contrast and slant for consistent texture in mixed settings. In longer lines the italic angle and contrast create a noticeable diagonal flow, so spacing and line length will influence comfort and perceived density.
