A high-contrast serif with bracketed serifs and a crisp, calligraphy-influenced modulation. The capitals are stately and evenly proportioned, with tapered terminals and fine hairlines that contrast with firm vertical stems. Lowercase forms are compact and well disciplined, featuring two-storey a and g, a small but clear ear on g, and a relatively vertical, bookish rhythm. Numerals show classic text-like proportions with pronounced thick–thin transitions and delicate serifs, giving figures a traditional, editorial feel.

Well suited to long-form reading in books, magazines, and editorial layouts where a traditional serif voice is desired. It also fits academic publishing, cultural institutions, and formal print collateral that benefits from a measured, established typographic tone.

The overall tone is classic and literary, with a composed formality that reads as trustworthy and established. Its sharp hairlines and traditional detailing add a refined, slightly ceremonial character suited to cultured or institutional settings.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif that balances elegance with readability, using strong thick–thin contrast and classic proportions to evoke established print traditions. Its consistent serif treatment and steady rhythm suggest an aim toward dependable performance in body copy while retaining a refined presence in headings and pull quotes.

Serif detailing stays consistent across caps, lowercase, and figures, with clean joins and measured spacing that supports continuous reading. Diagonals (as in V, W, X, Y) are elegant and narrow, while round letters maintain smooth curves without becoming overly soft, preserving a crisp page color.
