A heavy, angular display serif with blackletter-inspired construction. Strokes are largely uniform in thickness, with prominent chamfered corners and notched joins that create a faceted, cut-from-metal look. Counters are tight and rectangular, and many terminals resolve into wedge-like points or stepped cuts rather than rounded finishes. The overall texture is dense and blocky, with crisp interior corners and a strong vertical emphasis that keeps words compact and dark on the line.

Best suited to short display settings such as posters, titles, logos, and bold packaging where impact and atmosphere are priorities. It can work effectively for event branding, apparel graphics, or themed editorial heads, but its tight counters and dense rhythm make it less comfortable for long text at small sizes.

The font conveys a gothic, old-world authority—stern, traditional, and slightly aggressive. Its sharp cuts and compressed counters add a rugged, historic tone reminiscent of banners, crests, and dramatic headline typography.

The design appears intended to modernize blackletter and traditional serif cues into a bold, highly legible display face, using chamfers and notches to suggest carved or stamped lettering while keeping forms sturdy and consistent across the set.

Uppercase forms feel more architectural and rigid, while lowercase retains the same chiseled vocabulary, helping mixed-case settings maintain a consistent, carved texture. Numerals match the letterforms with the same faceted geometry and strong silhouettes, reading well at larger sizes where the interior cuts can be appreciated.
