A serif typeface with sturdy, bookish proportions and lightly bracketed, wedge-like serifs, rendered with a deliberately weathered texture. Strokes are mostly even with modest contrast, and curves stay open and readable, while edges show irregular bites and speckling that mimic worn type or dry ink on porous paper. Letterforms keep a generally classical structure, but the rough outline introduces small variations and softened corners across the set, giving the texture a consistent, repeatable rhythm rather than random distortion. Numerals follow the same straightforward, old-style-influenced feel with the same distressed surface treatment.

Works well for headlines, posters, and packaging where a vintage or workshop-printed feel is desirable. It can also support short passages on covers, labels, or editorial openers when you want a readable serif voice with an intentionally worn, analog finish.

The overall tone is nostalgic and tactile, evoking printed ephemera, well-used signage, and analog reproduction. The distress adds a gritty authenticity while the underlying forms remain friendly and legible, balancing utilitarian clarity with a handmade, imperfect charm.

The design appears intended to combine traditional serif construction with a controlled distressed overlay, creating the impression of age, abrasion, or imperfect printing without sacrificing the familiar rhythm of a text serif.

The texture is most visible along vertical stems and in enclosed counters, producing a slightly mottled, ink-trap-like effect at larger sizes. In continuous text the distress reads as a uniform patina, while in display settings the rough edges become a defining stylistic feature.
