A heavy, rounded serif display face with soft, blunted terminals and noticeably irregular contours. Strokes look inked and slightly swollen, with wobbly edges that create a printed-by-hand feel rather than crisp geometry. Serifs are short and bulbous, counters are compact and uneven, and spacing feels a bit loose and organic, giving the alphabet an intentionally imperfect rhythm. Numerals follow the same chunky, softened construction with gently inconsistent widths.

Works best for display typography such as posters, packaging, labels, event flyers, and big headlines where the rough, inky silhouette can be appreciated. It also suits logo wordmarks and short titles that benefit from a vintage, handcrafted voice; for body text, it’s more effective in brief, punchy settings.

The overall tone is nostalgic and homespun, like worn letterpress or rubber-stamp type pulled from a vintage label. Its friendly lumpiness reads playful at first glance, but the dark mass and roughness can also skew toward eerie or “old poster” depending on setting and color.

The font appears designed to evoke imperfect printing and tactile materials—ink spread, worn edges, and hand-set type—while keeping letterforms sturdy and highly recognizable. The goal seems to be character and atmosphere over precision, delivering a bold, expressive look for themed and decorative applications.

The texture is built into the silhouette rather than added as an overlay, so the distressed effect remains visible even at larger display sizes. The design leans on bold shapes and simplified detailing, which helps it hold together in short words, while long passages can feel visually dense.
