A sharply cut blackletter with dense, compact silhouettes and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Strokes terminate in pointed, wedge-like serifs and diamond terminals, with frequent broken joins that create a faceted rhythm. Uppercase letters are ornate and sculptural with strong vertical emphasis and interior counter cuts, while lowercase forms are narrower and more uniform, maintaining a steady texture in text. Numerals echo the same chiseled logic, mixing angular turns with occasional rounded bowls for contrast.

Best suited for display typography such as logotypes, mastheads, posters, album or game titles, and ceremonial materials like certificates and invitations. It performs well in short bursts—initials, titles, and pull quotes—where its carved detailing and dense texture can be appreciated at larger sizes.

The font conveys a medieval, authoritative tone with a ceremonial feel, evoking manuscripts, heraldry, and historic signage. Its dark color and crisp angles read as formal and dramatic, with a traditional gravitas that can also skew ominous when set large and tightly spaced.

The letterforms appear designed to translate the traditional blackletter writing model into bold, high-impact display shapes, emphasizing historic authenticity and strong visual presence. The consistent angular vocabulary and ornamental capitals suggest an aim toward iconic titles and identity work rather than extended small-size reading.

The design’s rhythm relies on repeated vertical strokes and fractured contours, producing a distinctly patterned text color. Several characters show decorative notches and inner cut-ins that enhance sparkle at larger sizes but can close up in small settings. Capitals are visually dominant and work best when given room to breathe.
