A high-contrast serif with sharply tapered, wedge-like serifs and noticeably bracketed joins that soften transitions into stems. Strokes show a calligraphic logic: verticals read strong while curves and connecting strokes thin dramatically, and many terminals finish in small teardrop or ball-like forms. Uppercase proportions feel classical and slightly condensed in rhythm, with sturdy vertical structure and pointed apexes; lowercase maintains a conventional, readable skeleton with compact, curved serifs and clear two-storey forms where expected. Numerals follow the same contrast and terminal treatment, producing an even, print-oriented texture in paragraphs.

Well suited to editorial layouts, book typography, and magazine text where a classic serif voice and refined contrast are desirable. It also works effectively for headlines, pull quotes, and formal titling where the pointed serifs and teardrop terminals can add character at display sizes.

The overall tone is traditional and literary, evoking editorial typography and old-style book composition. Its sharp serifs and polished contrast add a formal, slightly dramatic flavor, while the softened bracketing keeps it from feeling overly rigid.

The design appears intended to deliver a recognizable, classical serif reading experience with added personality through sharpened serifs and expressive terminals. It balances traditional proportions with a slightly decorative finish to stand out in both text and display settings.

The face creates a lively sparkle from the strong thick–thin pattern, especially in larger sizes, and the distinctive terminal shapes give it a subtly decorative signature without becoming ornate. Spacing appears comfortable in text, supporting a steady reading rhythm.
