A delicate calligraphic italic with pronounced thick–thin modulation and tapered, pointed terminals that mimic a flexible nib. Capitals are generous and sweeping, featuring looped entry strokes and occasional long underlines and descenders that add lateral motion. Lowercase is compact with a very small body, steep slant, and crisp joins, with ascenders and descenders doing much of the visual work; counters stay tight and letterforms remain unconnected. Numerals follow the same pen-driven rhythm, mixing narrow forms with a few broader, more gestural shapes for emphasis.

Best suited to display settings where its flourishes and contrast can remain crisp—such as invitations, formal announcements, certificates, and elegant brand marks. It can work for short phrases or titles in editorial and packaging contexts, especially when ample tracking and whitespace are available to accommodate long swashes.

The overall tone is graceful and ceremonial, with a classic handwritten polish that feels suited to personal, high-occasion messaging. Its dramatic swashes and sharp hairlines lend a romantic, slightly old-world character rather than a casual note-taking feel.

Designed to emulate formal pen calligraphy with a refined, engraved-like rhythm: slim letter bodies, steep slant, and expressive capitals that provide instant sophistication. The emphasis appears to be on elegance and gesture over compact readability, encouraging use at larger sizes where the hairlines and terminals can shine.

Stroke contrast is used to create hierarchy within individual letters, with hairline connectors and heavier shaded strokes appearing on curves and downstrokes. Several glyphs include extended entry/exit strokes that can create lively texture in longer phrases, while the small lowercase body size makes the script feel airy and elevated.
