A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a distinctly calligraphic, slightly irregular rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and tapered, with frequent teardrop/ball-like terminals and gently flared stroke endings that give the contours a carved, inked feel. Capitals are wide and sturdy with subtly wedged joins, while lowercase forms are compact with a relatively low x-height and lively ascenders/descenders. Numerals appear oldstyle, with varying heights and prominent curves, reinforcing a traditional text-face character with display-friendly emphasis.

Well suited to headlines, standfirsts, pull quotes, and other editorial display roles where texture and emphasis are desirable. It can also support book-cover typography, cultural or historical themes, and branding that benefits from a traditional serif voice with added movement and personality.

The font conveys a classic, bookish tone with a touch of theatrical flair. Its energetic slant and expressive terminals feel assertive and refined, suggesting tradition, ceremony, and editorial gravitas rather than neutral modernism.

The design appears intended to blend conventional serif structure with italicized, calligraphic energy, providing a more expressive alternative to neutral text serifs. It prioritizes characterful terminals, strong contrast, and distinctive word shapes to stand out in prominent typographic settings.

Stroke contrast and terminal shaping create strong sparkle and pronounced word shapes, especially in mixed-case text. The italic angle is consistent, but letter widths vary noticeably, producing an organic, handwritten-influenced texture that reads best when given adequate size and spacing.
