A heavy, block-built slab serif with squarish counters and broad, flat terminals. Strokes show pronounced internal cut-ins and notches that read like ink-trap detailing, producing a segmented, machined rhythm across stems and bars. Corners are generally softened into small radii, while the serifs remain stout and rectangular, giving the forms a sturdy footprint. Proportions feel expansive and compact at once: large interior openings are constrained by thick strokes, and the overall set maintains consistent, assertive silhouettes across caps, lowercase, and figures.

Best suited to display settings where its chunky slabs and notched detailing can be appreciated: headlines, posters, packaging, product labels, and bold signage. It can also work for wordmarks or title treatments that want a rugged, industrial voice and strong presence at medium-to-large sizes.

The tone is utilitarian and retro, evoking stamped labeling, hardware markings, and bold mid‑century display typography. Its notched joins and squared shapes add a mechanical, engineered feel that reads tough and functional rather than delicate or literary.

The design appears intended to fuse classic slab-serif structure with engineered cut-ins that boost character and visual grit. By combining massive serifs, squared geometry, and ink-trap-like notches, it aims for confident impact and a distinctive, mechanical texture in display typography.

The distinctive internal notches create high visual texture and help differentiate similar shapes (e.g., E/F, O/Q) while also adding a slightly stencil-like impression. Numerals follow the same blocky logic with strong horizontals and squared bowls, keeping the system cohesive in headlines and short bursts of text.
