Capitals are ornate and roomy, featuring long entry strokes and looping swashes, while lowercase forms are slimmer and more compact with occasional extended ascenders/descenders (notably in b, f, g, j, p, q, y). The stroke endings taper to fine hairlines, and curves are smooth and pen-like, giving the design a light, airy texture. Numerals follow the same calligraphic construction, mixing restrained forms with a few more decorative terminals.
