This typeface is a slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and bracketed serifs. The letterforms show a calligraphic, slightly oldstyle construction: rounded strokes feel pressure-driven, terminals are softly tapered, and the overall rhythm is lively rather than rigid. Capitals are strong and curving with generous bowls (notably in C, G, O, Q) and compact, crisp serifs; lowercase features a single-storey a, a looped g, and a descending f with a long tail, giving the text a flowing texture. Figures appear lining with similarly angled stress and clear, sculpted forms.

Well-suited to editorial typography where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, such as magazine features, pull quotes, and sophisticated headlines. It also fits book design applications for chapter openers, titling, and display lines, and can work for formal invitations or branding that benefits from a classic serif italic presence.

The font conveys a traditional, bookish tone with a touch of flourish. Its slant and energetic contrast create a sense of movement and elegance, suggesting cultured formality rather than minimal modernity.

The design appears intended as a conventional serif italic with elevated contrast and a gently calligraphic construction, offering a refined, traditional tone while remaining legible and cohesive in extended sample text.

Stroke endings tend to resolve into pointed or gently rounded terminals, and many joins show subtle swelling that reinforces a pen-made impression. In running text, the italic angle and contrast produce a dark, authoritative color, making it especially impactful at larger sizes.
