A high-contrast serif with strong vertical stress, thick main stems, and razor-thin hairlines. Serifs are fine and largely unbracketed, giving a crisp, cut-paper finish to joins and terminals. Proportions are relatively condensed with tall capitals and tight sidebearings, while the lowercase shows sharp, sculpted forms and small apertures that create a dense texture in text. Curves are smooth and controlled; details like the ear, spurs, and terminals often end in pointed or tapered strokes that heighten the engraved feel.

Best suited to display typography such as magazine mastheads, section heads, fashion and beauty branding, premium packaging, and poster titles. It can also work for short editorial passages or pull quotes when set with generous spacing and adequate reproduction quality to preserve the fine hairlines.

The overall tone is polished and theatrical, projecting a fashion-forward elegance. Its sharp hairlines and emphatic thick–thin rhythm read as refined and premium, with a slightly formal, old-world sensibility that still feels modern in display settings.

The design appears intended to capture a modern Didone-inspired look: compact, upright letterforms with striking thick–thin contrast and delicate serifs for an elevated, editorial voice. It prioritizes visual impact and refinement over neutrality, aiming for a distinctive, high-style presence in titles and branding.

In running text the intense contrast produces a lively sparkle, especially around round letters and diagonals. Numerals and capitals carry similarly dramatic modulation, making the face feel consistent across headlines, pull quotes, and titling where the high contrast can be fully appreciated.
