A heavy, serifed display face with strongly textured, irregular contours that resemble worn ink or rough letterpress impressions. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin contrast with abrupt transitions, and terminals often end in chipped, torn-looking edges. Counters are generally open and readable, but the overall silhouette is intentionally uneven, with subtle wobble and small voids that add grit. Spacing and sidebearings feel slightly inconsistent by design, reinforcing a handmade or degraded-print rhythm across words and lines.

Best suited for short-to-medium display settings such as posters, cover art, titles, and branded marks where the distressed texture can be appreciated. It works well for themed packaging and promotional graphics that want an aged, rough-printed look. For long passages or small UI text, the heavy weight and surface noise may reduce clarity, so it’s strongest when given room and contrast.

The font conveys a distressed, vintage attitude—equal parts utilitarian and theatrical. Its roughened edges and inky weight suggest age, wear, and physical printing, giving text a gritty, analog presence. The tone reads assertive and a little ominous, suited to dramatic or spooky themes without becoming illegible.

The design appears intended to mimic worn printing or distressed signage while retaining the familiar structure of a traditional serif display. By combining classic proportions with eroded edges and blotty texture, it aims to deliver immediate atmosphere—suggesting age, grit, and physicality—without requiring additional graphic treatment.

Uppercase letters have a compact, poster-like stance with sturdy serifs and chunky joins, while the lowercase keeps the same rugged texture and maintains clear differentiation between characters. Numerals match the heavy weight and distressed treatment, making mixed alphanumeric settings feel cohesive. The texture is consistent enough to read as a unified style, but busy enough that very small sizes may lose detail.
