This serif features tapered, moderately contrasty strokes with bracketed serifs and soft, calligraphic modulation. Proportions feel classically balanced: capitals are stately with open counters, while the lowercase shows an oldstyle rhythm with a two-storey “a,” a single-storey “g” with a prominent ear, and rounded joins that keep texture even in paragraphs. Terminals are gently flared rather than blunt, and curves transition smoothly into stems, creating a polished, continuous reading line. Numerals appear proportional with understated modulation and traditional shapes that sit comfortably alongside the text.

Well suited to book typography, editorial layouts, and other long-form reading contexts where an even texture and classical serif detailing are beneficial. It also works effectively for institutional branding, cultural organizations, and typographically driven headlines that need a refined, traditional voice without becoming ornate.

The overall tone is traditional and cultured, with a quiet elegance that reads as editorial and book-oriented rather than loud or decorative. Its warmth and restrained sharpness give it a trustworthy, institutional feel suited to long-form reading and formal communication.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif with a humanist/oldstyle sensibility: familiar proportions, bracketed serifs, and controlled contrast aimed at comfortable readability and a timeless, literary character.

The letterforms show careful differentiation for readability (open apertures and clear interior shapes), while maintaining a consistent serif treatment across uppercase, lowercase, and figures. The sample text demonstrates stable paragraph color and a measured cadence that stays smooth at larger display sizes as well.
