A formal, pen-inspired italic with lively, calligraphic modulation and tapered terminals. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin transitions, with hairline entry/exit strokes and heavier downstrokes that create a rhythmic, handwritten texture. Letterforms are relatively narrow with open counters and gently rounded bowls, and many capitals carry subtle swashes and curved arms. The lowercase shows a modest x-height, with long, expressive ascenders and descenders and lightly bracketed joins that keep forms readable while retaining a drawn, organic feel. Numerals echo the same slanted, tapered construction, with curving strokes and delicate finishing flicks.

This face suits display and short-to-medium text where a crafted, formal voice is desired—wedding and event invitations, certificates, packaging labels, editorial pull quotes, and book or chapter titling. It performs best when given adequate size and breathing room so the hairlines and swashy details remain clear.

The overall tone feels elegant and literary, like a personal inscription done with a flexible nib. Its flowing slant and restrained flourishes lend a romantic, old-world polish, while the slightly irregular, hand-rendered rhythm adds warmth and charm.

The design appears intended to translate broad-nib calligraphy into a consistent, typographic script—balancing graceful slant, contrast, and occasional flourishes with enough regularity to work in continuous reading for headings and expressive text.

The sample text shows smooth word shapes and consistent spacing that suit larger settings, while the finer hairlines and decorative terminals become more prominent as size increases. Capitals appear especially expressive, making initial letters and short display phrases feel more ceremonial than utilitarian.
