A decorative serif with flared, wedge-like terminals and a distinctly calligraphic, slightly incised feel. Strokes show moderate contrast with pointed joins, sharp beaks, and tapered ends that create a lively, textured rhythm across words. Capitals are broad and classical in proportion, while the lowercase introduces more irregularity and personality—seen in the looping single-storey “g,” the curved, hooked descenders, and the asymmetric finishing strokes on letters like “a,” “r,” and “t.” Figures echo the same chiseled, wedge-terminal logic, with open counters and energetic curves that keep the set cohesive.

Best suited to display settings such as book covers, chapter titles, posters, game or film titling, and themed branding where an old-world or fantastical mood is desired. It can work in short passages at larger sizes, but its pointed detailing and lively rhythm will be most effective in headlines and pull quotes rather than dense body text.

The tone is theatrical and story-driven: historical without being strictly formal, and playful without turning into parody. Its sharp terminals and slightly uneven, hand-cut rhythm evoke medieval manuscripts, fantasy titles, and vintage display typography. Overall it reads as expressive and characterful, with a hint of mystery and folklore.

The design appears intended to merge classical serif structure with hand-tooled, chiseled terminal shapes for a distinctive, narrative-driven voice. It prioritizes personality and atmosphere, using wedge serifs and tapered strokes to suggest historical craft while maintaining clear, readable letterforms.

Spacing and letterfit appear intentionally varied to preserve a hand-rendered cadence, and many forms lean on diagonal stress and angled entry/exit strokes. The italic-like movement comes from tapering and terminal direction rather than slant, keeping the texture animated while remaining upright.
