A sharply serifed display face with an irregular, thorn-covered silhouette. Strokes alternate between relatively sturdy stems and razor-like spikes, creating pronounced light/dark contrast and a rough perimeter throughout. Counters are often tight and uneven, and terminals erupt into short barbs, giving each glyph a turbulent outline while retaining recognizable Latin letterforms. The rhythm is intentionally unsettled, with variable sidebearings and jagged contour behavior that reads as cut, torn, or corroded rather than smoothly drawn.

Best suited to short, large-size settings such as posters, album artwork, game or film titles, and themed event flyers where a menacing decorative texture is desired. It can also work for logos or wordmarks in horror/metal/occult contexts, but is less effective for long passages or small UI sizes due to its busy edges and tight counters.

The overall tone is sinister and theatrical—evoking horror, dark fantasy, and punk zine energy. Its spines and distressed edges suggest danger and volatility, making it feel loud, uneasy, and attention-grabbing in a deliberately unruly way.

The design appears intended to deliver a dramatic, thorny texture while keeping letterforms legible enough for bold display use. It prioritizes atmosphere and impact over typographic neutrality, using consistent spiked detailing to create a distinctive, one-off voice.

In continuous text, the dense texture and spiky perimeter quickly dominate the page, especially around rounded forms (C, O, Q) where the barbs create a saw-tooth ring. Numerals and lowercase maintain the same aggressive edge treatment, supporting cohesive titling and short callouts but reducing clarity as size decreases.
