A very light slab serif with crisp, bracketed serifs and a clean, measured rhythm. Strokes stay mostly even with subtle modulation, and the overall color is airy due to the fine stem weight and generous internal space. Proportions lean broad with open counters and a restrained, traditional skeleton; curves are smooth and round while joins remain tidy and controlled. The lowercase shows a straightforward, readable construction with a two-storey g, a round i/j dot, and a slightly calligraphic touch in a few forms (notably the k and the 2), keeping the design elegant rather than mechanical.

Best suited to editorial typography, book or magazine settings, and refined brand systems where a light serif voice is desirable. It also fits invitations, menus, and packaging that benefit from a delicate, classic tone, especially at display and subhead sizes where the fine details can breathe.

The tone is calm and cultivated, conveying a literary, editorial sensibility. Its delicate hairline presence feels upscale and considered, with a vintage-book flavor that remains neutral enough for contemporary layouts. Overall it reads as polished and understated rather than loud or decorative.

The design appears intended as a restrained, legible slab serif with a premium, literary character—combining traditional letterforms with an unusually light texture. It prioritizes elegance and clarity through open shapes, controlled spacing, and crisp serif detailing.

Numerals follow the same fine, bracketed serif logic and include a distinct, curving 2 and an open-top 4, supporting a classic text setting feel. The sample text shows comfortable word shapes at larger sizes, where the thin strokes and sharp serifs remain clear and refined.
