A compact slab-serif with sturdy, mostly uniform stroke widths and firmly bracketed serifs that read as blocky and workmanlike. The forms lean on simple geometry with slightly softened joins and subtly uneven terminals that give an inked, printed feel rather than a crisp digital finish. Counters are moderately open, curves are round but controlled, and spacing is tight with a steady, vertical rhythm across lines. Numerals and capitals share the same solid, no-nonsense construction, with clear slab feet and tops reinforcing a strong baseline and cap line.

Well suited to headlines, subheads, and short to medium passages where a compact, sturdy serif can hold its shape and maintain a consistent text color. It works especially well for posters, labels and packaging, and editorial layouts that want a typewriter/print-shop flavor, as well as signage or identity applications that benefit from a rugged, utilitarian voice.

The overall tone feels like classic typewriter or stamped print: practical, a bit roughened, and convincingly analog. It conveys a straightforward, editorial seriousness with a hint of Western or small-press character, making text feel grounded and tactile rather than polished.

The design appears intended to capture the sturdiness of slab serifs with a subtly imperfect, inked finish, balancing clear readability with a distinctive printed texture. It prioritizes a compact footprint and strong vertical rhythm, aiming for an economical, practical look that still feels characterful.

In running text the letterforms keep a consistent texture while allowing small irregularities at ends and brackets to add personality. The narrow set and firm serifs create a dense color, giving paragraphs a punchy, headline-friendly presence without relying on high contrast.
