A high-contrast serif with slender hairlines, sharply tapered bracketed serifs, and smooth, calligraphic modulation. Upright capitals are narrow-to-moderate with a composed, vertical rhythm and clean joins; bowls and shoulders feel carefully drawn and restrained rather than blunt. Lowercase forms show a traditional, bookish structure with a two-storey “a,” a compact, slightly teardrop/ear-like terminal on “g,” and fine entry/exit strokes that stay crisp at display sizes. Numerals are elegant and formal, mixing straight stems with thin hairline detailing and gentle curves that match the text’s overall refinement.

Best suited to editorial typography—magazine headlines, section openers, pull quotes, and refined branding where contrast and finesse are central. It also works for short passages in high-quality print or high-resolution digital settings, particularly when paired with a simpler companion for captions and UI.

The tone is poised and sophisticated, projecting fashion and culture-magazine polish more than utilitarian neutrality. Its sparkle comes from the dramatic thick–thin transitions and the calm, upright stance, giving text a premium, curated feel.

The design intent reads as a contemporary interpretation of classic high-contrast book and fashion serifs, optimized for elegance and hierarchy in display-led layouts. It aims to deliver a luxurious, cultured voice with crisp detailing and controlled proportions.

Spacing appears generous enough for headline setting, letting the thin horizontals and delicate serifs breathe. The design emphasizes sharpness and precision, so it visually rewards larger sizes where the hairlines and terminals can remain clear.
