A tall, tightly set display face with sharp, angular construction and squared curves that read as chiseled and segmented rather than smoothly drawn. Stems are straight and firm with small wedge-like terminals and frequent right-angle turns, giving letters a carved, mechanical rhythm. Counters are narrow and vertical, and the overall texture is dark and uniform, with distinctive, slightly idiosyncratic shaping in diagonals and joins that keeps the alphabet feeling intentionally odd. Numerals and capitals follow the same condensed, faceted logic, reinforcing a consistent, graphic silhouette.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, event promos, album art, game or film titles, and expressive branding where a gothic-but-wacky voice is desirable. It can also work for labels and packaging that want a dark, eccentric tone, but it’s less appropriate for long passages of text due to its compact counters and highly stylized forms.

The tone blends old-world gothic flavor with a mischievous, off-kilter personality. It can feel ominous or “spooky” at a glance, but the quirky geometry and stiff, toy-like proportions push it toward theatrical, playful novelty rather than strict historic revival.

The design appears intended to reinterpret blackletter-inspired, vertical signage forms through a more experimental, geometric lens. Its goal seems to be immediate visual impact and a memorable, slightly uncanny personality rather than traditional readability or historical fidelity.

The dense vertical emphasis and pointed details create strong silhouettes at larger sizes, while interior spaces and fine notches may fill in at small sizes or on low-resolution outputs. The design’s character comes through most clearly in short words, headlines, and punchy phrases where its jagged rhythm can be appreciated.
