A slanted serif with crisp, bracketed serifs and a distinctly calligraphic rhythm. Strokes show a clear thick–thin modulation with tapered entry/exit strokes and teardrop-like terminals in places, producing lively, angled joins and an oblique stress through rounded forms. Uppercase proportions feel traditional and slightly narrow with sharp apexes (notably in A, V, W) and clean, sculpted curves in C, G, and S. The lowercase is elegant and flowing, with modest ascenders/descenders, a single-storey a, and a long, gently curving f; overall spacing reads open and bookish rather than tight or mechanical.

Well suited to long-form reading in books, essays, and magazine typography where a classic italic voice is needed for emphasis or entire passages. It can also support refined display settings—titles, pull quotes, programs, and invitation work—when a formal, traditional serif impression is desired.

The font conveys a cultured, literary tone—polished and traditional with a subtle sense of motion from the consistent slant. Its detailing feels suited to established institutions and editorial contexts, balancing seriousness with a graceful, handwritten undertone.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic with a strong classical foundation and careful calligraphic finishing. It aims to provide an elegant, readable slanted companion for editorial typography, delivering emphasis without losing the steadiness expected in continuous text.

Figures appear lining and proportional, matching the text’s forward lean and maintaining the same contrast and terminal treatment as the letters. The italic construction looks fully integrated rather than merely slanted, with expressive cursive forms (notably a, f, g, and y) that reinforce a continuous reading flow.
