This typeface is a slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and flared, bracketed stroke endings that give the serifs a sculpted, tapered feel. Curves are full and energetic, with soft swelling into terminals and strong, smooth transitions at joins. Uppercase forms read sturdy and formal, while the lowercase shows a more calligraphic rhythm, with rounded bowls, slightly fluid shoulders, and a single-storey a and g. Numerals carry the same contrast and slant, with clear, generously shaped counters that keep figures legible at display sizes.

It performs best in headlines, editorial layouts, and cover typography where its contrast, slant, and flared details can be appreciated. It can also support short passages such as pull quotes or introductions, especially when a classic, high-end tone is needed in branding or packaging.

The overall tone is traditional and confident, but not rigid—its diagonal stress and flared endings add motion and a touch of theatricality. It feels suited to polished, high-impact typography where a classic voice is desired without becoming austere.

The design appears intended to merge a traditional serif foundation with a more expressive, calligraphic italic construction. By emphasizing contrast and flared endings, it aims to deliver a refined display voice with strong presence and clear letterforms.

Spacing appears comfortable for display settings, with strong silhouette contrast and distinctive italic shapes that remain readable in continuous text. The flared terminals help strokes land softly, reducing the sharpness typical of more austere modern serifs.
