A slanted serif with sharp, bracketed serifs and pronounced thick–thin modulation. The strokes show a calligraphic rhythm with tapered terminals, diagonal stress in rounded forms, and a slightly lively baseline feel in the lowercase. Proportions are moderately narrow and vertically oriented in the capitals, while the lowercase has compact bowls and open counters that keep the texture from becoming too dark. Numerals follow the same italicized flow, with elegant curves and thin entry/exit strokes.

Well suited to long-form reading in books, essays, and magazine articles where an italic voice is needed. It also works for refined headlines, pull quotes, and captions that benefit from a classic, high-end tone, especially in print-oriented layouts.

The overall tone is polished and literary, suggesting traditional book typography with an upscale, editorial flavor. Its crisp contrast and graceful slant read as formal and cultured rather than casual, with a subtle sense of motion that feels expressive without becoming decorative.

The design appears intended as a traditional text serif italic: to provide an expressive companion for emphasis and hierarchy while maintaining a consistent, readable texture in continuous settings. Its high-contrast calligraphic cues aim to deliver elegance and authority without sacrificing clarity.

The italics are strongly integrated rather than merely slanted, with distinctive cursive construction in letters like a, f, g, and y. Serifs remain fine and controlled at text sizes, and the spacing in the samples produces a smooth, even color suitable for continuous reading.
