This typeface uses a blackletter-derived, calligraphic construction with sharply broken curves, pointed terminals, and faceted joins. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation with crisp tapers and occasional ink-trap-like notches, giving contours a chiseled look. The overall rhythm is compact and vertical, with tight interior counters and narrow letterforms, while the slant adds forward motion. Lowercase forms keep a small body relative to tall ascenders and pronounced descenders, and the numerals follow the same engraved, angular logic for a cohesive color in text.

Best suited to display use such as posters, titles, album/film styling, and logotypes where the dense blackletter texture can be appreciated. It can also work for labels and packaging that aim for an old-world, crafted feel; for paragraphs, larger sizes and added spacing help maintain legibility.

The tone is unmistakably medieval and ceremonial, evoking manuscripts, heraldry, and gothic sign painting. Its sharpness and dense texture feel intense and authoritative, with a theatrical edge suited to dark romance, metal-adjacent aesthetics, and historical motifs.

The design appears intended to reinterpret traditional blackletter with lively, hand-drawn energy—keeping the classic broken-stroke vocabulary while adding expressive slant, sharp terminals, and ornamental spur details for impact in modern display settings.

Caps are highly decorative and asymmetric in places, with flame-like spur details that increase visual noise at small sizes. Many lowercase shapes rely on tight counters and closely spaced vertical strokes, creating a strong, patterned texture that benefits from generous tracking and line spacing in longer settings.
