A heavy, block-forward slab serif with broad proportions and compact internal counters. Strokes are largely uniform, with squat, rectangular slabs that feel firmly attached and often slightly bracketed, producing a sturdy, printed look. Curves are rounded but controlled, and joins show subtle notches and tight apertures in places (notably in letters like S, a, e, and g), which adds texture and keeps the forms from feeling purely geometric. The lowercase is robust and compact, with single-storey a and g, short extenders, and a strong baseline presence; figures are equally weighty and built for impact.

Best suited to display settings where strong presence is required: posters, headlines, storefront or wayfinding-style signage, labels, and bold packaging. It also works well for brand marks that want a rugged, heritage, or collegiate flavor, especially at medium to large sizes where the interior details don’t clog.

The tone is confident and no-nonsense, evoking vintage signage and athletic or workwear lettering. Its chunky slabs and dense color create an assertive, dependable voice that reads as rugged and slightly nostalgic rather than refined or delicate.

Designed to deliver maximum impact with a sturdy slab-serif structure and a compact, ink-friendly rhythm. The forms balance hard edges with rounded bowls to suggest traditional print and signage influences while remaining highly legible in bold display typography.

The spacing and counters appear intentionally tight for a dense, dark typographic color, making it particularly effective when set large. Angular terminals on diagonals (such as K, V, W, X, and Y) reinforce a cut, stamped quality, while the rounded bowls keep the overall rhythm friendly and approachable.
