A very heavy slab-serif with pronounced, bracketed serifs and a compact, blocky silhouette. Strokes show clear thick–thin modulation, especially in curved letters, while terminals finish in broad rectangular slabs that hold the baseline and cap line firmly. Counters are moderately open for the weight, and the overall rhythm reads steady and text-capable despite the mass. The lowercase uses a single-storey g and a robust, rounded a, and the numerals follow the same bold, high-contrast logic with sturdy verticals and strong serifed structure.

Well suited to headlines, subheads, and short blocks of text where a strong typographic voice is needed. It can work in editorial layouts, branding, and packaging that call for a traditional slab-serif presence and high-impact letterforms, especially at medium to large sizes.

The tone is bold and authoritative, with a classic print feel that suggests headlines, posters, and traditional editorial typography. Its heavy slabs and high-contrast curves give it a confident, slightly vintage voice that reads serious rather than playful.

The design appears intended as a dependable, high-impact slab-serif for print-like typography—combining classical contrast with bold, anchoring serifs to deliver emphasis and legibility in display and editorial settings.

In running text the dense color is a defining trait: it builds strong emphasis quickly and benefits from generous leading and comfortable tracking at smaller sizes. The shapes stay consistent across caps, lowercase, and figures, reinforcing a cohesive, workmanlike personality with a display-ready punch.
