A hand-drawn, brush-and-ink style serif with visibly rough, broken edges and uneven stroke boundaries that mimic dry brush or worn printing. Letterforms are compact and slightly condensed with lively, irregular widths and high stroke modulation, giving strong dark verticals and thinner connecting strokes. Serifs are implied rather than strictly constructed—often appearing as tapered flicks, nicks, or blunt terminals—while curves show wobble and ink spread for an intentionally imperfect rhythm. Lowercase forms are small relative to capitals, with tight apertures and short ascenders/descenders that keep the text block compact but textured.

Best suited to display settings where the rough brush texture can be appreciated—posters, book covers, album art, packaging, labels, and editorial titles. It can also work for short pull quotes or thematic subheads when a handcrafted, worn-print look is desired, but extended body text may feel busy due to the strong texture.

The overall tone feels handmade and timeworn, like lettering pulled from a pulp cover, a DIY poster, or a stamped label. Its irregularity reads approachable and crafty, with a lightly mischievous, gritty energy rather than formal refinement.

The design appears intended to simulate expressive brush lettering and imperfect print reproduction, prioritizing character and tactile texture over geometric consistency. It aims to evoke a vintage/handmade atmosphere while remaining legible in short-to-medium lines.

Texture remains consistent across letters and numerals, with occasional heavier inking in vertical strokes and thinner, scratchier diagonals that add movement. At smaller sizes the distressed edges may visually fill in, while at display sizes the brush texture becomes a key stylistic feature.
