A refined serif with pronounced thick–thin contrast and crisp, tapered stroke terminals. Serifs are bracketed and often wedge-like, with stems that subtly flare as they meet the serif, giving a sculpted, calligraphic finish rather than blunt endings. The capitals feel stately and well-proportioned with generous counters (notably in O, Q, and C), while lowercase forms balance readability with sharp detail; the two-storey a and g, slender f, and compact e maintain a consistent rhythm across text. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic with clear, classical shapes and pointed joins.

Well-suited to editorial design, book typography, and magazine layouts where contrast and detail can be appreciated. It performs especially well for headlines, pull quotes, and refined branding applications, and can also serve as a text face when set at comfortable sizes with sufficient leading.

The overall tone is polished and traditional, evoking bookish sophistication and an editorial, high-end sensibility. Its sharp contrast and tapered details add a slightly dramatic, fashion-forward edge while staying firmly rooted in classic serif conventions.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif voice with heightened contrast and carefully tapered finishing, combining traditional proportions with a sharper, more modern editorial bite. The flared transitions and wedge-like serifs suggest an aim for elegance and distinction without sacrificing conventional readability cues.

Spacing appears measured and even in the paragraph sample, with strong vertical stress and clean diagonals that keep word shapes stable. The combination of sharp terminals and flared stem-to-serif transitions gives the design a distinctive crispness that reads as both formal and contemporary.
