A high-contrast serif with sculpted, flaring terminals and wedge-like, bracketed serifs that give strokes a chiselled, carved feel. Stems are robust while joins and curves taper sharply, creating a lively thick–thin rhythm across the alphabet. Uppercase forms are wide and assertive with crisp apexes and deep internal counters; lowercase shows compact, well-contained bowls, a two-storey “a,” and a lively “g” with a pronounced ear. Numerals are weighty and old-style in spirit, with strong curves and prominent stress that keeps them visually anchored in text.

This face is well suited to headlines, magazine and newspaper-style editorial design, and branding systems that benefit from a traditional yet distinctive serif voice. It can also perform strongly on book covers and posters where bold texture and crisp contrast help create hierarchy and presence.

The overall tone is editorial and stately, projecting confidence and tradition with a slightly theatrical edge. Its pronounced contrast and flared finishing strokes lend a sense of craft and formality, suited to messages that want to feel established and deliberate rather than neutral.

The design appears intended to deliver classic serif authority with added character through flared, calligraphic stroke endings. It aims for impactful display readability while preserving familiar proportions and a traditional typographic cadence.

Stroke endings often swell into tapered wedges, and the typeface maintains a consistent internal tension between sharp cuts and rounded bowls. In the sample text, the heavy color and tight, energetic rhythm read best at display sizes where the detailing in terminals and contrast can remain clear.
