A decorative serif with sharp, spurred serifs and flared terminals that create a distinctly jagged silhouette. Strokes show pronounced contrast with narrow joins and teardrop-like, ink-trap notches in several counters and junctions, giving the outlines a carved or ink-worn texture. Proportions are moderately condensed in places but uneven by design, with lively curves (notably in S, C, and G) and angular stress that keeps the rhythm energetic. The numerals and lowercase maintain the same edgy, tapering serif language, producing strong word shapes at display sizes.

Best suited to display applications where its spiky serifs and textured contrast can be appreciated—headlines, poster titles, packaging accents, book covers, and brand marks needing a dark or antique character. It can work for short bursts of text, but the busy interior notches and sharp terminals may feel dense in small sizes or long passages.

The overall tone feels gothic and theatrical—part Victorian poster, part dark fairytale. Its pointed details and bitten-in counters suggest mystery, occult flavor, or horror-leaning nostalgia rather than everyday neutrality.

The design appears intended to reinterpret classic serif construction through a more ornamental, gothic lens, emphasizing dramatic terminals, high-contrast strokes, and deliberately cut-in counters to create a stylized, atmospheric voice.

Round letters have slightly irregular inner cut-ins that read like intentional ink traps or chiseled facets, adding texture in solid settings. The uppercase carries more dramatic spur work and presence, while the lowercase remains expressive but slightly more restrained for setting short lines.
