A sharp, fractured blackletter with tall vertical stems, broken curves, and pointed terminals that create a strongly faceted silhouette. Strokes alternate between heavy verticals and finer connecting elements, with crisp internal counters and frequent diamond-like joins typical of pen-nib construction. Capitals are elaborate and compact, with dense interior structure and occasional sweeping entry strokes, while lowercase forms keep a consistent rhythm of upright minims and angular bowls. Numerals match the letterforms with chiseled shapes and brisk, ink-trap-like corners that hold up the dense texture.

Well suited to headlines and display settings such as newspaper-style mastheads, event posters, certificates, menus, and brand marks seeking a historic or ceremonial tone. It can also work for packaging or album artwork where a dense, traditional blackletter color is desirable, especially when set at larger sizes.

The font projects a formal, old-world authority with a ceremonial, editorial gravitas. Its dark, rhythmic texture and spiked detailing evoke manuscripts, proclamations, and traditional Gothic signage, reading as stern and dramatic rather than casual or playful.

Designed to deliver a traditional blackletter voice with strong vertical rhythm and ornamental capitals, balancing legibility with a deliberately dense, authoritative texture. The consistent pen-nib logic and angular construction suggest an emphasis on period flavor and impactful display presence.

Texture is intentionally dense, with tight interior spaces and prominent vertical emphasis; this rewards larger sizes and generous tracking. The “s” and “r” families show strongly segmented construction, reinforcing the fractured aesthetic across words and lines.
