A high-contrast serif with crisp, finely tapered hairlines and fuller main strokes that often flare gently into wedge-like terminals. Serifs are sharp and bracketed, giving transitions a chiseled, sculpted feel rather than a purely mechanical finish. Proportions are classical and fairly open, with clear counters and a steady baseline rhythm; curves are smooth and round, while joins and terminals stay precise. The lowercase shows a traditional book-face structure with a double-storey a and g, a compact, sturdy r, and a teardrop-like ear on g; numerals are similarly high-contrast and formal, with a notably calligraphic 4 and curving 2 and 3.

Well-suited to editorial typography, book interiors, and magazine settings where a refined, traditional voice is desired. It also works effectively for display uses such as headlines, pull quotes, and premium branding or packaging, where the flared terminals and sharp serifs can carry a sophisticated, high-end impression.

The overall tone is polished and authoritative, with a distinctly literary, gallery-like elegance. The sharp serifs and pronounced contrast add drama and sophistication, reading as upscale and timeless rather than casual or utilitarian.

The design appears intended to blend classic serif construction with subtly flared, chiseled stroke endings to add character and sparkle. It prioritizes elegance, contrast-driven rhythm, and a confident, traditional presence that performs both in text and in larger typographic moments.

At text sizes the strong thick–thin contrast and fine serifs create a bright, crisp page color, while larger sizes emphasize the sculpted terminals and sweeping curves. Uppercase forms feel stately and monumental, and the punctuation and figures match the same refined, high-contrast logic.
