A slanted serif with sharply sculpted, wedge-like serifs and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Curves are taut and elliptical, with compact bowls and strong vertical stress that gives the letterforms a carved, high-fashion look. Terminals often end in pointed or teardrop shapes, and several capitals show crisp, tapered entry strokes that read as mildly calligraphic. Spacing appears moderately tight in text, producing a dense, rhythmic texture with emphatic word shapes.

Best suited to headlines, magazine decks, pull quotes, and short-form typography where a strong, elegant personality is desired. It can also work for branding and packaging that aims for a classic-luxury impression, especially when given generous size and careful spacing. For long passages at small sizes, its sharp contrast and dense texture may require extra leading and tracking to maintain ease of reading.

The overall tone is assertive and theatrical, combining classical serif cues with a sleek, contemporary swagger. It feels premium and attention-seeking—more runway and magazine than quiet book text—while still retaining a traditional, formal backbone.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif voice with heightened contrast and an italic-driven sense of motion, creating immediate impact without abandoning conventional letterform structure. Its detailing and proportions suggest a focus on display typography for refined, high-visibility applications.

Capitals look sturdy and monumental, while the lowercase introduces more motion through curved joins and tapered terminals. Numerals are similarly stylized, with bold silhouettes and refined contrast that suit display settings. The diagonal stance and energetic shaping make it most comfortable at larger sizes where the fine strokes and sharp details can stay clear.
