A heavy, high-contrast serif with sharply sculpted wedge/bracketed serifs and flared stroke endings that give the outlines a chiseled, faceted feel. Curves are tight and compact, with teardrop-like inner counters and pronounced modulation between thick verticals and fine connecting strokes. Many joins resolve into pointed wedges (notably in diagonals and terminals), while select letters use ball terminals and beak-like hooks that add texture. The overall rhythm is dense and dark on the line, with sturdy capitals and slightly more animated lowercase shapes.

Best suited to display sizes where the sharp serifs, contrast, and compact counters can read clearly—such as headlines, pull quotes, magazine/editorial typography, posters, and brand marks. It can also work for short subheads or packaging copy when ample size and spacing are available.

The font conveys a confident, editorial tone—traditional at a glance, but with a dramatic, slightly theatrical edge from its sharp terminals and pronounced contrast. It feels authoritative and attention-grabbing, suitable for statements that should read as bold and deliberate rather than neutral.

The design appears aimed at delivering a bold, classic serif voice with extra impact through flared terminals and angular, carved details. It prioritizes strong presence and recognizable texture, blending traditional serif structure with more expressive, attention-directing finishing strokes.

Capitals present a strong, stable silhouette with crisp apexes and firm serifs, while the lowercase introduces more idiosyncratic details (notably in g, a, and s) that increase personality. Numerals are robust and display-oriented, matching the letterforms’ sharp serif treatment and tight counters.
